Zentangle® – like Cooking?
Sometimes (usually when I’m hungry), I see a correlation between the art of the cooking process and the art of the Zentangle process! I share this with you because it is often easier to learn new words when we link them with words we already know.
So, connecting the steps of cooking (the words inside the parentheses below)… to the steps of the Zentangle process… we get what I call “Z Steps” (click links for details, examples, etc.):
- Express “gratitude” (be “hungry”)
- Draw “border” (get a “container” to prepare food)
- Draw a “string” (refer to a “recipe”)
- Draw “tangles” (add “ingredients”)
- Add “shading” (“blend” by combining ingredients)
- Add more, to “enhance” (add “spices”)
- Time to “sign” (“ready” to eat)
- Time to “appreciate” (“enjoy” the food)
