Favorite Tangles

Some of these are easy to remember and to draw. Some take a bit more practice. All are very nice to know!

Note: I continue to work on this page and plan to add small images plus a link to a page for each tangle

  • ahh – intersecting lines with gap to “sparkle”
  • bb – tall rectangles side-by-side (like books on a shelf)
  • cadent – grid of orb’s and S’s
  • crescent moon – border of arcs (like half moons); then “aura”.
  • cubine – grid, with “shading” that creates cubicles
  • diva dance – wiggling lines, with occasional areas of black
  • fescu – lines that bend at top (resembles skinny candy-cane)
  • florz – grid, with small black diamonds at line intersections
  • hollibaugh – intersections of pairs of lines, “drawn behind”
  • keeko – resembles basketry
  • knightsbridge – grid (resembles checkerboard)
  • msst – wiggling lines, end in dots
  • n’zeppel — grid, with “rounded corners” added
  • printemps – spirals (can leave gaps to add “sparkle”)
  • tipple – border of orbs, filled with more orbs
