- Petals (5) — rounded, pointed, overlapping, radiating from center
- Center of bloom — very small, dark, round
- Buds — small, long, narrow
- Leaves — large, long, narrow, pointed, dark green
- Branches — minimum variation in thickness; look like antlers
things to Notice:
- edge/curl of petals
- texture of bud — tightly “wrapped”
- edge of leaf
- center vein of leaf
- network of branches
- line-weight added in corners of branching
- value range — light petals, mid-tone buds/branches, dark leaves
- background contrast — inked black vs un-inked (and a little ‘nZeppel)
